Its ironwork is from Heurelmann & Co. The building has been the location of the Roger Peet Store (1940s, 1950s), the Guggenheim SoHo museum (1996, remodeled by Arata Isozaki), and currently Prada (2001, interior remodeled by Rem Koolhaas).
