Niadtong unang kapanahonan, dunay usa ka managtiayon nga namugsay padu'ng sa Siyudad sa Sugbo. Apan ang ilang sakayan nabira sa su'g sa mga lilo sa Silot Bay. Sila napadpad ngadto ug didto na mipuyo.
Ang maong managtiayon nabuhi sa pagpangisda ug ila kining ibaligya sa silingan nilang mga dapit. Usa ka adlaw niana, samtang ang asawa namaligya, nangutana ang mipalit sa isda kon diin kini nila kuhaa. Ug mitubag ang babaye, "Didto ni gikan sa may lilo". Human niadtong higayona, ang maong lugar gitawag na nga "Liloan".
